Challenge
The project required façade systems capable of performing reliably in Hurghada’s demanding coastal environment, where strong solar exposure, high temperatures, humidity and airborne salinity can affect long-term building performance. At the same time, the façade needed to coordinate precisely with the structure, glazing, architectural finishes and hospital operations while maintaining durability, safety and ease of maintenance.
Approach
We developed coordinated façade solutions tailored to the project’s architectural character and technical requirements. Our scope included reviewing façade build-ups, selecting appropriate materials, resolving glazing and structural interfaces, developing fixing strategies, and preparing detailed coordination packages to support accurate fabrication and installation. Each façade component was considered as part of an integrated envelope system designed for durability, weather protection and long-term performance.
Outcome
The resulting façade package provided a technically resolved and buildable envelope solution that supports the hospital’s architectural identity and everyday operational needs. Through detailed coordination and constructability-focused engineering, we helped deliver façade systems that can be fabricated and installed efficiently while meeting key requirements for safety, durability, environmental resistance and visual quality.
